RWITI: Wall done, Track Hung.

So another brick has been placed from the vision of the downstairs. If you haven't already seen the previous posts, check out this one, http://1036.blogspot.com/2010/02/rwiti-sliding-door-panel.html, and especially look at the picture, cause you'll see if I'm close or not on the realization.

It was a great weekend. We had the TV going downstairs to watch the men's gold medal game, GO CANADA, and just did great work. Here's the final product.

The second door is at a local wood mill, they're cutting off some of the top and bottom, and milling me some 2-1/2" beams for the left and right side of the doors to connect them. Supposed to be done tommorow. So the door gets built, stained, and rehung. And then we have a complete room.

So by now I actually have a reputation of making things come true, and actually working out. Even the construction guys are amazed how cool it is. And I'm also getting many husbands in trouble...with wives now getting the crazy idea that change might be good! Ha! Suckers!

Anyways, after the door is done, I'm going to take a little break. As fun as this all is, it sure does take time, and time that I could be spending time with the kids and other stuff. Anyways, it's been great, and I don't regret it for the world, and it's going to be super sweet!!!!
