Yesterday was awesome.
Work has begun on the wall, and light fixture placement/outlets/switches are done.
And the vision for the doors has been solidified. I realized that I didn't want to cut down the doors. They were too awesome to hurt. They had to be cut because of their size. The one that's 92 inches hits the roof! :) The other one is 88 inches, but a little wider. So what to do?
Make a hanging sliding panel. The doors on are their sides. Nice panels of glass between then. Posts on their ends. And hung on a track system (e.g.: barn door). It's going to be crazy awesome. Here's my drawn vision. I don't often do this, but drawing things out definately got EVERY one on board instantly.
You might want to zoom in to see the details. Basically it slides behind the wall. We have a 18 foot wall, and with the door opened, we'll have approx 8-9 foot opening between the bedroom and the reading room. Small low amp pot lights lighting the door... :)

So, the doors are hanging sideways and sliding! Fantastic!

The wall is done. Just boxing in the duct work. I'm going to take some pics in a sec.
