So a little video showing the mostly finished deconstruction and the starting of the insulation. We actually have some sweet videos of the deconstruction process, which I'll put up sometime.
Enjoy. Hey. If it looks crazy, it's because it is. But that's me to a T.
Oh yah. Here's the link I mentioned.

Update: Insulation done, except for one pipe. What a difference it makes.
Update 2: Moved the door that used to be on my computer room/the panic room, and hung it on the laundry room entrance. Now we have a proper mud room that we can not loose all the hot/cold air from the house.
Update 3: Everything cleaned up again. I've learnt the main trick to keeping Meghan happy and excited... clean up after myself. What a difference it makes. It's only taken what... 9.5 years...
Wow, Aaron, you've stirred up all the old juices and thinking about lighter, more sustainable, off- or semi-off grid living.
I started clicking around and watching videos (again), . We ought to visit Mom's friend, Jackie, who lives off-gird.Dad
Agreed about the visiting. Mom suggested some time in the spring. That could work. Hey, with all your networking in Kingston, you wouldn't happen to know anyone who runs a wood mill or has an old barn that has to come down. We're looking for some wide pine/cedar/whatever for the roof of the basement.
