Our trip involved Camping in Old Forge, NY for 3 days, and going to Water Safari on the second day. It was great, but the nights were REALLY cold. The first night probably went close or past zero.
The biggest hurdle we had to face on the TVE was Micah's gigantic ear infection. The night before we had to leave, Micah started complaining that his ear hurt. There was ooze pooring out, and it stunk. Meghan and Micah went to the ER and got some major medication for an outer and inner ear infection. On the first day it was still bad, but day 2 and 3 were very good.

Our campsite was GREAT. It backed onto a huge forested ravine. The kids spent hours just exploreing the "gooey gyser" and collecting sticks for the fire. We've finally reached the stage of the kids life that they can keep eacher safe and entertain each other during camping trips.

Wow that looks like it was REALLY fun. Have the kids been camping before ??
The kids love to camp! We've taken them camping since they were born - or almost!
