[October 31st, 2006] HAPPY HALLOWEEN! What a Pretty Princess! What a Strong Spiderman! Oh wait! Those are my children! I am so proud of my little guys! We had a wonderful night! We celebrated Caitlin's 25th birthday! And the kids got almost half way around the block before they wanted to go home and eat all the candy! After we sorted through their candy to take out any open packages, soft drinks, and bubble gum - they had quite the mound of candy to eat through! As with our tradition, they are allowed to eat as much as they want on Halloween night, then the candy goes away. Now that Micah is going to school, I pack one thing of candy in his lunch bag. And now that Lizzy is in potty training, she gets a candy with every success (wont be long now!). At two houses the kids were asked if they could sing a song for their candy and they right away started singing 'Ba ba black sheep'! They even got extra candy for their efforts! The day after halloween I went to walmart and bought a couple more costumes for half price - that's how I came about that spiderman costume last year! Micah got a batman and superman costume, and lizzy got another princess costume! All in all a wonderful Halloween! Miss you Grandma and Grandpa!
