mmm....appelmous. Or however you spell it. Aaron, do you and Meghan have the same 'applesauce as a meal accompaniment versus dessert discussion Josh and I do'?
I totally remember going apple picking when I was a little kid in Ontario. SOOOO exciting. The kids look like they had a blast.

Very neat.

And apple sauce is a dessert, not a dinner accompaniment, by the way.

I think that it depends on what you're eating for supper. On the other hand, isn't dessert usually something that is full of sugar, or not necessarily all that healthy? Applesauce is always good for you! Especially our home made - no sugar added - applesauce! We had apple cobbler for dessert last night. But get this - we also had it for breakfast this morning :)
There, that's my answer to your question Heather!

Just to set the record straight, appelmoes (has to be cold) goes exceptionally well with many main courses. I like it with potatoes, corn, pork, and so on. Let there be no more talk of using applemoes as a desert. Desert is pumpkin pie wth icecream.

Anyway, thanks for the photos and letting us in on some family fun.
