[Oct 3, 05) Here's a close-up. The glass that I chose has one side that is smooth and one side that is bumpy. I chose to have the green glass, bumpy side up, and the pink/purple glass, bumpy side down. There are also some wisps of green in the pink/purple glass. I found that glass in the cheap bins at the glass store. I thought that it was quite a find! (I paid full price for the green glass - it's not cheap!) If I were to sell this piece in a store it would go for $300. I don't even know how many hours went into this thing! Maybe that's why it's so hard to part with. Well, I've always got the memories! (and the cuts & burns to remember it by)
